The Pet Walk

A sheltered linkway that stretches from block 151 to 154, the Pet Walk is where one can find many pet-related businesses. Enjoy the sight of birds, puppies, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, small fishes and even some exotic breeds.

Chua’s Pets was one of the earliest pet businesses that moved into the new estate in 1986. He was subsequently joined by his brother, Mr Chua Kah Soon, in 1989. Mr Chua is the owner of Goodwill Birds Trading, and a recipient of the Public Service Medal PBM.

The family previously lived in the nearby Kampung of Lorong Buangkok which is across from Seletar Hill.

DID YOU KNOW?

Birdsong can be learnt from other birds.

Prior to the pandemic, dozens of bird lovers would sit and hang their bird cages at designated corners in this neighbourhood. Aside from being a form of leisure and gathering for their owners, this was how the pet birds learnt new tunes from each other.
