Chindamani Indian Restaurant is a prata stall, opened by the friendly Mr Ramesh, who hails from Tamil Nadu. It is located within Zhi Yuan Coffee Shop (际源咖啡店).
Famous for its biscuit-like and crispy prata, Chindamani has a loyal following. The stall opened in 2008 and is a relatively new addition to the estate, which was built in the 80s.
The stall is named after Chindamani, a legendary magical stone from Hindu mythology.
The recipe for Mr Ramesh’s famous crispy prata originated from his hometown of Kollangudi in India which he then adapted to local tastebuds.
